Green Roads on CBS

Thank you to CBS for featuring us on the CBS Sunday Morning Show, and allowing us to shine a light on Green Roads and the growing CBD industry.

Our commitment to our customers and to delivering the highest quality hemp products enabled us to reach record sales in 2018 (approximately $45 million), making us one of the leading CBD brands on the market. Connoisseurs and customers alike trust us to deliver quality, transparent, and reliable products.

Correspondent Lee Cowan from the CBS Sunday Morning Show discussed a handful of topics surrounding the new compound from the business perspective to the manufacturing side of the spectrum. He later addressed the company behind the acclaimed CBD products on a cordial interview with co-founder Laura B. Fuentes.

Let’s look at the obstacles the CBD industry has faced in recent years, and how Green Roads surmounted those complications to establish itself as a top contender.

A Closer Look Inside the Company

With Laura’s guidance and leadership, we now have about a 10% share of the CBD market, but the supply side of the industry isn’t always transparent. Laura deals with plenty of shady people in the industry. She has made it a standard procedure to send any samples she gets from vendors to her lab for testing. Most small samples tend to check out fine, so she orders morebut when she sends the larger orders to the lab for testing, it’s not always the same stuff as the original sample. And, there is no recourse.

At Green Roads, we pride ourselves on only producing quality products, which is why we spend a staggering $30,000 to $40,000 a month testing raw materials for pesticides and metals. We also require certificates of origin from all of our suppliers.

Green Roads has navigated all the uncertainty in the industry to achieve a remarkable level of success. In 2017, Forbes listed us as one of the top 10 CBD brands in the country. We’ve also been featured in several publications including Yahoo, Cosmopolitan, ESPN, NBC, BuzzFeed, and now CBS.

Everything CBD – Chasing the Inevitable

The era of CBD-based products is upon us. With the Farm Bill now in action, it’s only a matter of time in which CBD will be as mainstream as chocolate bars. The market is already teeming with CBD products such as gummies, muscle rubs, pet treats, shampoos, syrups, and even coffee. Yes, CBD coffee is a real thing, and it could be on the shelves of your favorite store sooner rather than later. National chains like Walgreens and CVS have announced plans to carry CBD based products in some of their stores.

Green Roads CBD

Our CBD products are made with hemp grown in the United States. In addition to that, each batch of our products is tested by an independent lab to ensure that the contents always match what is on our labels. Lab results are continually being updated on our website and are available to anyone visiting the site. We offer CBD in many forms, the choice is yours; but keep in mind, always consult with your doctor or a healthcare professional before adding CBD to your supplement regimen.
